Claudia Home

Data and permissions

Privacy policy

Effective 9 October 2026

Claudia Home is a privately operated household integration connecting Google Nest thermostats to the Claudia personal assistant. This policy describes the integration and this public information website.

Data we access

With the account holder’s permission, the integration accesses the Google Nest home and device information returned by Google’s Smart Device Management API. This can include home and room names, device identifiers, connectivity, temperature, humidity, target temperatures, operating modes and heating or cooling status.

Google authorization supplies access and refresh tokens used to connect to the selected devices. The integration does not request or store the account holder’s Google password. Private WhatsApp commands and resulting replies are processed by Claudia’s existing messaging system.

How data is used

Device data is used to identify the requested room, answer household questions, execute authorized thermostat commands, check the reported result and diagnose connection problems. Relevant command text and device context may be processed by the AI services configured for Claudia to understand requests and produce replies.

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used by this integration to develop or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Claudia Home’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and service providers

Connection tokens and device records are stored on the household operator’s computer in files with restricted operating-system permissions. They are not included in this website’s public files. Message history and operational records may also be retained by Claudia’s configured systems for continuity and troubleshooting.

Google processes authorization and device requests. WhatsApp and its service providers process messages sent through that service. Claudia’s configured AI providers process relevant requests and context. Cloudflare hosts this information website and may process technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect it. We do not add advertising, visitor analytics scripts or data-entry forms to these public pages.

Retention and removal

Connection credentials are kept while the integration is in use. Device records, messages and operational logs are retained as needed to provide and troubleshoot the private service, until removed by the operator or under the applicable service provider’s retention settings. There is no automatic deletion schedule currently configured for the local setup records.

To disconnect, remove Claudia Home in Google’s Partner Connections Manager. Revoking access stops future authorized API access; it does not automatically erase records already stored locally or in messaging systems. To request removal of locally stored tokens and Nest records, contact claudia.haliburg@gmail.com. Records held by Google, WhatsApp or other providers are also subject to their own controls and policies.

Contact and changes

For access, correction or deletion requests, contact claudia.haliburg@gmail.com. This page will be updated if the integration’s data practices change.
